An association dedicated to the preservation of Dieulefit's ancient heritage.
Description
Pierre Vives is an association governed by the French law of 1901:
- research and dissemination of information on the site, geography, history and development of Dieulefit ;
- the preservation and restoration of Dieulefit's ancient buildings and monuments which it does not own;
- the acquisition of buildings or ruins of historical or architectural interest with a view to their conservation or restoration on a not-for-profit basis.
After a period of inactivity, Pierres Vives resumed its activities in 2014. This association, which had up to 400 members and focused on local heritage, would have been nothing without the involvement and strong mobilization of the dieulefitois.
