L’Athanor – Gîte L’Olivier

This rental was set up in 1999 in the oldest part of the buildings, which had to be almost completely rebuilt.
It follows the traditional layout of local farmhouses, and from the cobbled courtyard, you enter directly into the living room with sitting area, featuring fireplace, HI-FI, and dining area. The built-in American-style kitchen features dishwasher, ceramic hob, double-bowl sink, extractor hood, microwave, washing machine, fridge-freezer, and also opens onto the superb covered terrace with commanding views, where you'll enjoy breakfast in the sun, lunch in the shade, and dinner in the fading sunshine, admiring the sunsets over the heights of the Massif Central, beyond the Rhône. A WC with washbasin completes this level. Upstairs, a landing-corridor leads to the 3 bedrooms, a bright bathroom with shower and bathtub, and a separate toilet. The 3 bedrooms are very different, with single or double sloping ceilings. Bed linen is provided. Numerous windows, woodwork and furniture by cabinet-makers, or antique, woodwork and exposed stone, and finally its fireplace, give this gîte its warm atmosphere, so special and so pleasant to live in.
The owner, who lives on site all year round, will take great care of you and will be able to advise you on visits, hikes, restaurants...
