The association was founded on 10/09/1968 to restore the roof of the church in the Viale de Bourdeaux. It opens the building every summer, offering a variety of exhibitions. Local artists also take part in the life of the church.
Description
The aim of the association is to safeguard the sites and monuments of the Bourdeaux area and the cultural heritage they represent from an archaeological, architectural, historical and artistic point of view.
For several years now, the association has been helping visitors relive the history of Bourdeaux by creating a heritage trail around the town. Together with a group of associations, it publishes heritage fact sheets on the various villages of the Pays.
