Survey the Land on top of Crest tower!
Situated in the heart of the Vale of the Drôme, Crest Tower is a remarkable listed historical monument. Highest keep in France (52m), the tower has sat on its rocky outcrop for the last 900 years. It is the imposing but only remain of a medieval fortress built from the 12th century. Knicknamed the ‘Southern Bastille’, you can, from its platforms, admire magnificent views of the pre-Alps, the Vercors region, the Ardeche Mountains, the Rhone Valley and the Drôme Valley. Guided tours and various cultural events are on offer all year long.
